The Triple R 102.7FM and PBS 106.7FM Megahertz proved too strong for the Espy Rockdogs at this year’s Community Cup winning the match by one point when Triple R announcer Stuart Farrell kicked a life saving goal in the final moments of the game

The match attracted 10,000 people to Elsternwick Park raising $180,000 for charity partner Reclink, an organisation providing sport and arts activities to help people experiencing disadvantage.

The event organisers would like to thank everyone involved in this year’s Community Cup – from the event sponsors to the punters that braved the chilly Melbourne weather – the success of this year’s Community Cup has ensured the event will return in 2011 for another big day of footy and music!
