Reclink’s Community Cup bands announced!
Relive the 80s and 90s with these true blue Aussie bands, The Meanies, Front End Loader and The Celibate Rifles as they rock the stage at Community Cup.
All three bands, plus one more to be announced, will be performing throughout the day at Reclink Community Cup.
Front End Loader was formed in 1991 in the back streets of Darlington in Sydney. Sometimes known as the best live rock band in the country, and at other times, the drunkest, they will hopefully be on their best behavior at Reclink Community Cup!
The Meanies formed in 1989, Australian Rolling Stone has described their songs as “each burst of savage punk/pop noise…; an unclean riff with a beating heart of pure melody.”
Forming in 1979, The Celibate Rifles’ career has spanned fourteen studio albums and spawned endless touring. Damian Lovelock and Kent Steedman will not only be performing but also lining up for the Western Walers.
Keep an ear out for the next announcement of Community Cup’s last act.
These three bands have deep roots in Sydney and Melbourne and will be bringing the entertainment to the masses at Henson Park, Marrickville on Sunday 18th March.
